Don has been Senior Pastor at Central since the fall of 1979. He attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology from Central Baptist College in Conway. He served as Staff Evangelist for Park Place Baptist Church in Little Rock and then as Pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Marvell. He spent three years in full-time evangelism (preaching hundreds of conferences throughout the United States) before moving to Central Baptist Church in Conway. He and his wife Maggie have three children – Lori Kulbeth (Donnie), Michael Chandler (Shelly), and Marlo Atwell (Cory) – and seven grandchildren – Matt Kulbeth, Gabe Chandler, Noah Chandler, Chanley Atwell, Luke Chandler, Zach Kulbeth, and Nate Atwell. He enjoys travel (especially hosting annual tours to the Holy Land), golf, family time, and teaching his pastor’s Bible class.

Darrell has been at Central since January, 2003. He has been in ministry since June, 1981. He and his wife, Calleen, were married July 17, 1981. They have two married children, Beth and Charla, and one grandson, Will. Darrell is a graduate of Central Baptist College, Conway and Crichton College, Memphis, Tennessee. Darrell served churches in Arkansas, Texas and Mississippi before joining the Central staff. He enjoys music, outdoor activities and Alabama football.

Mike joined the Central staff in May of 2004. Mike and his wife, Teresa have been married since 1985 and they have three children: Lauren, Olivia and Morgan. Mike has been in ministry since 1983. He is a graduate of Central Baptist College in Conway, AR and has done additional studies at Mid-America Seminary in Memphis, TN. Mike pastored churches in Missouri and Tennessee prior to joining the Central staff. Mike enjoys spending time with family and friends, good coffee, good music, and many outdoor activities.

Ben has been a member of Central since 1996 and began serving on the Central staff in December of 2001. In July of 2000 he married his wife Amy and they have 3 children: Connor, Claire & Christopher. Ben & Amy also serve as foster parents so you may see them with “extra” kids from time to time. Ben is a graduate of Central Baptist College in Conway with a BA in Pastoral Studies and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a MA in Christian Leadership Studies. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, cooking, politics and rooting for the Razorbacks

Michael has been at Central since August 2nd, 1998. He has been in ministry since December 1992, and has been married to his wife, Christi, since December 16th, 1995. They have two daughters, Kamy Lee and Mattie Lauren. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR in 1997 with a B.A. in Youth Ministry and a B.S.E. in Health & Physical Education, and BMA Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Religion. Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends, music, reading, hunting, fishing, playing spades, golf, basketball, football and other sports.
David Moore David Walker Moore, Children's Minister
David joined the Central staff in May 2013. Before coming to Central, David was the Dean of Students at Columbia Christian School in Magnolia, Arkansas. He and is wife, Ashley, were married June 17, 2000. David and Ashley are the proud parents of two boys, Avery and Ayden. David is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University where he studied Elementary Education. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf and basketball, rooting for the Razorbacks, and going to the lake. David's favorite bible verse is Psalm 34: 2-3 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!
staff sample Maggie Chandler, Women's Ministry Director
Maggie has served as Women’s Ministry Director and counselor since retiring several years ago. She and Pastor Chandler were married August 19, 1967. She attended Central Baptist College and the University of Central Arkansas. Maggie has written four books, a weekly newspaper column called “I Wish I’d Said That,” and numerous magazine articles. She served as writer and executive assistant to Governor Mike Huckabee and as political speechwriter for the Auditor of State. She co-created a weekly television show, conducting on-location interviews with guests such as Max Lucado, Zig Ziglar, Kurt Warner, and Gloria Gaither. She was a Bible instructor at Conway Christian High School, worked during the startup of Soaring Wings Ranch, and taught one semester at Renewal Ranch. Maggie enjoys her grandchildren, golf, travel (especially the New England coast), and teaching her adult Life Group..
